BOOSTstrapping
Someone once told me that the probability of an entrepreneur getting venture capital is the same as getting struck by lightning while standing at the bottom of a swimming pool on a sunny day. This may be too optimistic.
Guy Kawasaki.
The key to successful performance.
BOOSTstrapping is almost like bootstrapping, but for $98T bigger. The definition of bootstrapping was introduced by Guy Kawasaki in his books "Startup" and "Rules for Revolutionists." Applying the bootstrapping approach since the very beginning of our business, we believe that we discovered the real art of this practice that worth sharing. Considering the remarkable results, and unique features invented by the BOOST, now we call this approach to do business as a derivative from the firm name - BOOSTstrapping.
The Full Story
In the heart of our operating model is the concept of being bootstrapped - to promote or develop by initiative and effort with little or no assistance. This gives us the unique combination of freedom to act, stay relaxed, lose nothing in case of failure, and get the most out of the buffalo if we succeed. This Blue Ocean investment approach allows BOOST to generate extraordinary returns throughout its entire track record. The main principle we adhere to is to enter into projects that deliver the highest possible income and invest the minimum amount of cash. For this reason, we only enter into seed, turnaround, or late stage projects, and buy secondary debts, paying in cash not more than $1. The distinction of these projects is that to be successfully completed, they require the unique combination of specific interdisciplinary knowledge and practices, which is really rare. That brings us the cherry on top - no competition in the segment we play.
